Real estate tax law in the pipeline

The top legislature is speeding up the introduction of a special law on real estate taxation, authorities said on Wednesday. A real estate tax law and another five major tax laws, including environmental protection and value added tax, have been included in the latest legislative plans of the National People's Congress. The NPC is working with the Ministry of Finance to draft the legislation, and public opinion will be sought before it is enacted.
