Taxis ferry sick woman for free

A group of 300 Nanjing taxi drivers have volunteered to pick up an ailing 19-year-old woman and take her to a Nanjing hospital every week for free from the neighboring town of Ma'anshan in Anhui province. The woman, who uses a wheelchair, has suffered from neurological disorders since birth. She has had to go to the hospital every week since the beginning of this year, but cannot afford taxis. The group of taxi drivers, members of an online chat group, learned of her situation and offered free rides for the 40-minute journey.
