Hebei, Guizhou get new Party chiefs

Zhao Kezhi has been named the new Party chief of Hebei province, taking over the position he had held in Guizhou province. The appointment was announced on Friday by the Communist Party of China Central Committee. Zhao replaces Zhou Benshun, who was dismissed on Tuesday and is being investigated by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection for suspected "severe violations of discipline and law". Earlier on Friday, the committee appointed Guizhou Governor Chen Min'er as the provincial Party chief.
