Ad appears 8 meters high

Residents recently found an advertising flyer pasted on a sculpture 8 meters off the ground on the northern end of the Yangtze River Bridge. Sanitation worker Zhang Wenfeng said this was the first time she had seen a flyer pasted so high. Li Shangdong, who lives nearby, said he thought it a disgrace to the city. A man surnamed He, whose telephone number was on the flyer, said he had entrusted a billposter to distribute some fliers to rent out his shop, but he had no idea why a flyer would appear on the sculpture. City patrol officers sent staff to remove the advertisement and said they will fine the billposter up to 5,000 yuan ($810).
