Logo marks national unity, commemoration of victory

A logo marking the 70th anniversary of the end of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression (1937-45) and the end of World War II has been revealed by the Chinese government.

The logo features a red number "70" in its center. Five doves fly over and behind the number and the Great Wall spreads out in the shape of the letter "V."

The "V" symbolizes victory and the unity of the Chinese nation, according to the State Council Information Office.
