This Day, That Year

China Daily | Updated: 2015-07-24 07:43

Item from July 24, 1994, in China Daily: Children are happy about the opening of the first McDonald's restaurant in Shanghai. It is McDonald's 22nd store in the Chinese mainland ... continuing its aggressive expansion policy throughout the nation ...

There are seven McDonald's outlets in Shenzhen, five in Beijing, four in Guangzhou and one each in Xiamen, Fuzhou, Tianjin, Dongguan and Foshan.
