CPC expels former anti-graft official

Zhong Shijian, the former deputy Party chief of the Guangdong provincial Discipline Inspection Commission, has been expelled from the Communist Party of China and removed from public office after an investigation, the top anti-graft watchdog said on Tuesday. Zhong "seriously violated political rules and discipline, and interfered with case investigations", according to the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
