Sheraton Macao welcomes 5 millionth guest in July

Sheraton Macao Hotel, Cotai Central celebrated a major milestone on July 6 as it welcomed its 5 millionth guest: Sharanya Trivedi from India.

Trivedi's family picked the hotel to celebrate her 10th birthday. Trivedi, her 8-year-old brother Suvarn, mother, father and grandmother were welcomed by Josef Dolp, managing director of Sheraton Macao Hotel, Cotai Central and The St. Regis Macao, Cotai Central, along with a colorful cast of DreamWorks characters.

Sheraton Macao Hotel upgraded the family of five to a presidential suite, gave them free tickets to the new DreamWorks Kung Fu Panda Academy, lunch at Bene and dinner at Xin. It also offered free spa treatments at Shine Spa for Sheraton.

"This milestone is very important to Sheraton Macao Hotel as we continue to differentiate ourselves in the Macao hospitality space with more family offerings such as the Kung Fu Panda Academy, which is built upon the success of our collaboration with DreamWorks," said Dolp. "These experiences demonstrate our commitment to diversifying Sheraton Macao Hotel's family offerings, as well as helping to shape Macao into Asia's entertainment hub.

"Sheraton Macao Hotel's brand positioning and unique offerings have proven to be very successful. We welcomed our 2 millionth guest in February last year, and now, just over one year later, we're very pleased to be welcoming our 5 millionth - a family of five from India."

The family of five from North India said they have enjoyed staying at Sheraton hotels in other parts of the world, which is why they chose Sheraton Macao Hotel for their daughter's birthday celebration on their first visit to Macao.

"We chose the Sheraton brand because we really enjoyed our stay with the Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel and Towers in Dubai. My children were bouncing off the walls when they found out about all the activities that are available here in Macao, especially the DreamWorks attractions. They can't wait to try the Kung Fu Panda Academy and the chance to meet all of the DreamWorks characters. It's an honor to be the '5 millionth guest', and we are so excited to be celebrating our daughter's birthday here," said Trivedi's mother, Shruti Bajpai.
