Resolve some issues for better reform results
Since the beginning of this year, Premier Li Keqiang has held 22 State Council executive meetings, which have issued many policies and regulations on economic reform and social development, including streamlining administration and delegating power to the lower levels and establishing social credit rating code. Many may see it otherwise, but it is normal for the central government to intensively introduce policies in half a year.
On the one hand, the executive meetings of the State Council, China's Cabinet, are a major part of its duties. According to the State Council's working rules, its executive meetings are presided over by the premier once a week, and one of their major tasks is discussing significant works, draft laws and regulations, as well as other important issues.
On the other hand, 2015 is a significant year for implementing the leadership's strategic layout and further deepening of reform. In the shot term, the intensive introduction of reform policies indicates that it is an urgent task to deepen reform and promote development, and shows the central government attaches great importance to the downward economic pressure during the economic transition, as well as expediting the building of a livelihood safeguard network.
