Helping China's poorest farmers has become a passion for Rice Harmony's CEO

Tan Jingyuan last year became chief executive of a charity devoted to helping farmers in some of the poorest parts of China enjoy a better life.

The Guangdong province-based Rice Harmony Cooperative was founded in 2012, and under her guidance it now has 10 full-time staff.
