Wonder stroke seals it for Fowler

By Agence France-Presse in Gullane, Scotland | China Daily | Updated: 2015-07-14 07:19

Rickie Fowler won the Scottish Open at Gullane on Sunday, making three birdies on the last four holes, capped by a superb 109-yard wedge shot to within 18 inches to close it out.

It was a dramatic finish to a closely-fought, round-long battle involving a dozen players, with the lead changing several times.

Fowler's Ryder Cup team-mate Matt Kuchar was one shot back to share second with Raphael Jacquelin of France after rounds of 68 and 70 respectively.
