34 militants killed in operations
Thirty-four Taliban militants were killed in military operations across Afghanistan, the country's Defense Ministry said on Tuesday. The Afghan National Army carried out joint and cleanup operations in eight provinces. The operations wounded an additional 33. Three others were arrested, the ministry said in a statement.
