Former champ barely holds back tears after taking final bow at Wimbledon

Lleyton Hewitt admitted he just managed to hold back the tears as the former Wimbledon champion's swan-song ended in a frustrating five-set defeat against Jarkko Nieminen on Monday.

Hewitt is embarking on a prolonged farewell tour before retiring after next year's Australian Open and he was hoping for one last hurrah on his 17th and final visit to the All England Club.
