Xi to attend BRICS and SCO summit

President Xi Jinping will attend the 7th BRICS summit and 15th SCO summit, to be held in Ufa of Russia next week. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang announced Monday that Xi will attend the 7th BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) summit on July 8-9 and the 15th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on July 9-10 in Ufa at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
