Secret documents published by WikiLeaks show US wiretapped French president, 2 predecessors

The US said it is not targeting French leader Francois Hollande's communications and will not do so in the future after documents published by WikiLeaks showed Washington had wiretapped the president and his two predecessors.

France summoned the US ambassador to the Foreign Ministry, and Hollande held an emergency meeting with the country's top security officials to consider a response to the revelations.
