The country's software exports totaled $7 million in 1989 and then jumped to $10 million last year ... China places great emphasis on cooperation with foreign companies in the industry. This cooperation is also expected to help the country increase software exports.
From computers and smartphones to e-commerce and online search engines, Chinese technology giants are expanding their influence in the global market. Many major homegrown players such Lenovo, Huawei, Xiaomi and Baidu are rapidly outgrowing the domestic sector and increasingly expanding their international presence.
