Dairy industry to buzz with activity: Ministry
The nation will take further steps to develop the dairy industry and encourage more investment from big global enterprises and brands, the Ministry of Agriculture said on Wednesday. China is planning a series of steps to encourage large-scale dairy breeding so that it can become a global force in animal husbandry by the end of 2020. At the same time, China will also strive to boost production standards and safety measures in the domestic animal husbandry sector, Han Changfu, the minister of agriculture said.
