MERS virus claims 65-year-old man
A 65-year-old Middle East respiratory syndrome patient died on June 6 at a hospital in Lower Saxony, a spokesman for the Niels-Stensen-Kliniken said on Tuesday. The man, from North Rhine-Westphalia, died from a secondary lung infection caused by the MERS disease. He had contracted MERS in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
