Top restaurants list: Why no Chinese?

Ever since chef Ferran Adria changed the culinary landscape with his deconstructed delicacies at El Bulli, international dining has never been the same.
In the recently announced 50 best dining spots in the world, another Spanish restaurant topped the list, edging out Noma, the Danish phenomenon. Finally reindeer moss is no longer all the rage.
The top 10 best restaurants in the world, according to the list, are mainly in the West, with occasional nods to Latin America.
