Generational excellence

Generation 80s: Pan Yanhong versus Yu Pei-lin.

The long hitters from Chinese Taipei and Chinese mainland are Pan and Yu. These generation 80s players are around the same age and both have won on the China LPGA Tour and are regulars on the Japan LPGA Tour. Despite Pan having turned pro about four year after Yu, they have developed into leading players representing Chinese mainland and Chinese Taipei.

Yu is 33 and turned pro in 2006. She won her first title, the Wenzhou Challenge, in June 2010. She also won the 10th anniversary tournament of the LPGA of Taiwan in October 2010. Two years later, she won on the Ladies Asian Golf Tour.
