The Ministry of Culture has blacklisted and fined a number of websites offering animations, including 38 Japanese works, citing inappropriate content such as excessive violence.

"The ministry will continue to crack down on animations with illegal content. This will help clean up cyberspace and build a healthy environment for teenagers."
