College-bound students seek guidance

Many students seek help with the complex and confusing college application process from education counseling agents.

Wang Yilin, one of the 9.42 million students who attended the national college entrance exam, or gaokao, on Sunday and Monday was no exception.

Wang, a high school senior in Shanghai, completed the first step of the process in May, filing an application form with a few dream universities with assistance from an education consulting company.
