US firm launches education project
Abbott Laboratories, the United States-based pharmaceuticals and healthcare products company, has launched its sixth "Abbott Family Science" education project in China. Organizers said the latest initiative aims to inspire young people's interest in science, and encourage families to recognize the value of science in improving their own health. This year the project will focus on primary schools in remote western rural areas of the country.
