Postal fees freed to boost development
The National Development and Reform Commission, the top economic planner, has released a circular covering changes in postal fees to promote the sector's development. According to the circular, which was released on Monday, rates for "competitive parcels" (domestic express mail, postcards and parcels weighing less than 10 kilograms, among other items) will be market-based rather than fixed. Postal enterprises can set charges, standards and methods according to market supply and demand, the circular said.
