Private investors invited to join 12 water projects

The National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance said that private investors will be invited to join 12 large water projects, the first effort of its kind, the Shanghai Securities News reported on Monday. The pilot projects, including Fendou reservoir in Heilongjiang province and other 11 water projects, are expected to form a mature public-private-partnership model in the next two years through absorbing social capital.
