Overseas experts pursue their dreams

In addition to attracting overseas talent to support its development, China is now in a better position to fulfill foreign experts' dreams as well, experts said.

In 1950, when China introduced foreign experts - exclusively from the Soviet Union at first - the official expression was "supporting China's economic construction".

"Now the case is totally different," said Liang Boshu, editor-in-chief of International Talent magazine. "For foreign experts, working and living in China is no longer for China only, but for themselves as well as for China. ... Foreign experts can also pursue their dreams in China."
