Reds fan Wozniacki laments Gerrard departure

A win to start her French Open bid helped Liverpool soccer fan Caroline Wozniacki overcome the disappointment of seeing Steven Gerrard's final game for the Reds turn into a disaster.

While preparing for the start of Roland Garros, the Dane kept an eye on Liverpool crumbling to a tennis-score loss to Stoke City in the final game of the Premier League season on Sunday, with Gerrard scoring in the 6-1 rout.

"Wow ... At least Stevie G scored in his last game ... #tryingtofindthepositives," Wozniacki tweeted after Anfield legend Gerrard's final match before he moves to Major League Soccer's LA Galaxy.
