2 pilots killed in navy crash

A navy plane whose engine caught on fire crashed into woods, killing an instructor and a student pilot who were unable to escape by parachute, the navy said on Tuesday. The two pilots died in the crash on May 13 in Liaoning after successfully turning the aircraft away from villages, residential buildings, hospitals and a business area, the navy reported on its micro blog.
