Forum discusses public diplomacy

A public diplomacy strategy based on cooperation and "win-win" approaches will help shape China's image as a peaceful, cooperative, developing and responsible player in the world arena, experts said at a forum on Sino-US public diplomacy. Civilian, rather than governmental, exchanges can better counter the so-called China threat perceived by some countries, Zhao Qizheng, president of Renmin University of China's Institute for Public Diplomacy, said at the forum on Saturday.
