By Zhang Yan | China Daily | Updated: 2015-05-22 07:30

Two young drivers of a Ferrari and a Lamborghini involved in a high-speed car crash while racing in Beijing were both sentenced to prison terms on Thursday on charges of dangerous driving.

The case was dubbed "Fast and Furious" by the media in a reference to the United States action movie franchise.

The defendants - the 20-year-old Ferrari driver, Yu Muchun, and the 21-year-old Lamborghini driver, Tang Wentian - appeared at Chaoyang District People's Court in the capital.
