Three officials face probes

Three officials are being investigated in separate cases of alleged embezzlement or accepting bribes, the Supreme People's Procuratorate said on Thursday. They are Zhang Guoqiu, a deputy department-level inspector in Tongliao, the Inner Mongolia autonomous region; Li Hongbo, director of the Water Affairs Bureau in Hainan province; and Yang Haoqiang, former deputy director of the Arts and Sports Bureau in Hainan.
