Woman scalded lover with burning edible oil

A court in Xi'an has sentenced a young woman to three years in prison for pouring burning edible oil over the man she lived with. The woman, surnamed Wang, and the man, surnamed Zhang, moved into a rented apartment in 2010. Early one morning in April of last year, Wang awoke Zhang after preparing his breakfast. But Zhang did not want to get up. A fight broke out and Wang took burning oil and poured it over him. Thirty percent of Zhang's body was burned.
