The State-owned bank opened in the region on Thursday ... it specializes in foreign exchange and trading services ... with more than 300 branches in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions.

There are more than 350 buildings higher than 100 meters in Hong Kong, according to information portal Sina. The tallest structure in the special administrative region is the International Commerce Centre, which ranks as the world's eight-tallest building.

The 484 meter-high skyscraper also boasts the world's highest hotel on its top 13 floors.
