Yiwu forms hub for global companies

For 54-year-old Indian businessman Pradip Shetty, Yiwu is a much more important city than global business centers such as Dubai and Hong Kong.

The small county-level city in Zhejiang province is home to the headquarters of his company, Yiwu P.S. Fashion Trading, from where Shetty ships hundreds of containers of incense sticks and soaps from India and then sells them with other commodities to the rest of theworld.

An increasing number of Indian businessmen are making Yiwu their global transition center.
