First-edition book stolen from fair

A first-edition copy of One Hundred Years of Solitude, Gabriel Garcia Marquez's most-acclaimed novel, was stolen early on Sunday at the International Book Fair of Bogota. The book fair, which began on April 22 and ended on Monday, was dedicated to Marquez, a Colombian author who died in 2014. Book owner Alvaro Castillo Granada, who had loaned the book for its exhibition, said "the copy is invaluable and should not go on sale".
