2 rescued from broken elevator

A 72-year-old grandmother and her grandson were trapped in an elevator in Dongguan for nine hours before they were rescued. The alarm bell was out of order, so the grandmother, identified only as Wang, shouted for help for several hours. Her grandson was hungry and cried. Finally, the property administrator heard her cries and freed the pair. The broken elevator was in a residential building in Dongguan.
