Death sentence of Filipina postponed while Australia withdraws ambassador in protest

Indonesia staunchly defended on Wednesday its execution of seven foreigners as a vital front of its "war" on drugs as testimony emerged of how they went singing to their deaths.

A Philippine woman who was also set to be executed got an eleventh-hour reprieve after another woman who allegedly duped her into ferrying drugs to Indonesia turned herself in to Philippine police.
