Fire caused by quake kills one

One person was killed and another injured after a powerful earthquake in waters off Taiwan on Monday caused a fire. The magnitude-6.4 quake, off the east coast of Hualien, struck at 9:42 am. The quake caused a junction box near a residential building in New Taipei City to explode, which started the fire. A 84-year-old was killed in the fire and another person was hospitalized.
