Declines ease inmany cities after interest rate cut and boost in sales

The decline of home prices eased across China's cities in March, deterred by an interest rate cut at the end of February and a housing sales boost in March.

New-home prices declined from a month earlier in 50 of the 70 cities tracked by the government, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Saturday, compared with price drops in 66 cities in February.
