Capital to reward whistle blowers

Beijing is offering rewards to people who notify the authorities about major violations of the country's product-quality standards, Beijing Times reported on Thursday. The violations include the production and distribution of fake or low-quality products, and supplying low-quality coal that contributes to the city's severe air pollution problem. The rewards policy has been introduced by the city's Bureau of Quality and Technique Supervision.
