Exhibition Special: Best of Asia on display at show
Tapping into the vast business opportunities available in the burgeoning home appliances, lighting and electronics industry in China and global markets, the third edition of the Home Appliances, Lighting& Electronics Exhibition - or ALEEX - featuring all Asian-made products is running in China until April 17 at the Poly World Trade Center Expo in Guangzhou.
Products on show in the home appliances category include air-conditioning equipment, kitchen and bathroom appliances, home cleaning appliances, electrical healthcare products and energy-saving appliances.
The lighting sector features commercial, decorative, household and outdoor lighting, the latest LED and eco-lighting and lighting accessories.
Consumer electronics cover a wide range of devices and gadgets - audiovisual products, personal electronics, medical and healthcare electronics, electronic security products, electronic games and entertainment, telecom products, electronic smart devices and accessories, smartphone accessories, computers and peripheral products, LCD displays, 3D printing and auto electronics, parts and components.
Riding on the success of the last two exhibitions in April and October 2014, the April 2015 ALEEX is much larger. Again, it is an all-Asian sourcing marketplace with all exhibitors from Asia. There are more than 250 exhibitors from the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea in 350 booths. The exhibition continues to provide visiting traders and buyers from home and abroad a direct sourcing platform to interact with quality suppliers from Asia.
The biannual exhibition has become a firm fixture in the spring and autumn sourcing seasons in Guangzhou and meets the needs of international and local buyers to expand their supplier base.
Strategically timed to coincide with the peak buying timeslots in April and October, ALEEX also sets out to attract the attention of the huge number of international buyers in Guangzhou to attend the Canton Fair Phase 1. The ALEEX show venue is just steps away from the fairground of the Canton Fair, making it convenient for buyers to visit both shows at the same time.
ALEEX is organized by Guangzhou Grandhub Exhibition Co Ltd and managed by Mega Expo (Hong Kong) Ltd, and is supported by trade and economic associations located in Fujian, Zhejiang and Guangdong provinces.
At this third edition of ALEEX, lighting exhibitors make up the dominant contingent with more than 80 percent of the booths displaying the latest in lighting products.
According to the show manager Mega Expo, trade buyers to ALEEX can also enjoy a lot of specialty services. For example, a business-matching service offered by Mega Expo will enable them to meet preselected target exhibitors during the show. A free shuttle service and onsite business center also help make visits to the show hassle-free.
