More businesses that supply aircraft are opening as the country relaxes controls over low-altitude airspace to boost the air transport and general aviation industries.
Two companies have been given licenses by civil aviation authorities in the past week. In addition to selling light aircraft, the ventures, one in Zhengzhou, Henan province, and the other in Ningbo, Zhejiang province, will also provide training, maintenance and flight services.
Xue Xianqi, a manager at the Henan Dadi General Aviation, which owns the Zhengzhou outlet, said the provincial Civil Aviation Bureau granted a license allowing it to conduct general aviation flights on Thursday.
