Dwayne Gylywoychuk bounced around the professional minor leagues for seven years before finding his true calling in hockey: coaching.
"It's been a long ride ... but a fun one, too," the personable 41-year-old from Winnipeg, Canada, said after watching Hungary crush the DPRK 5-1 on the opening day of the Group B, Div 1 world championship at Beijing's Capital Gymnasium this week.
"I played for eight different teams in four different leagues and I tried to learn something new from every coach I ever played for. When I quit playing, coaching seemed like the natural move."
