Shanghai auto show to find new role for revealing models

Although overly revealing models won't appear at the upcoming Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, some car exhibitors probably will give them other roles in order to attract the attention of visitors.

The organizer of this year's Shanghai auto fair confirmed at a news conference on Wednesday that there would be no glamour models standing by the cars at the show.

Regarding exhibitors who may hold other events to replace the model shows, Gu Chunting, president of the event's co-organizer, Shanghai International Exhibition Co, said that normal performances would be allowed while the organizers would see how to deal with exceptions after the show opens.
