Platform for fundraising set up

The country's first professional body for fundraising has been created by a group of leading charitable institutions including Beijing Recende Fundraising Research Center, Narada Foundation, Shenzhen One Foundation and the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation. The China Association of Fundraising Professionals' mission, said Liu Sheng, director of the Recende center, is to build a communication platform for fundraisers, cultivate specialized personnel for the sector, and improve the level of professionalism involved in it, through industry research.
