Official gets eight years for bribery

Chen Yihan, former head of the publicity department of the former Railway Ministry, has been sentenced to eight years in prison for taking 400,000 yuan ($64,500) in bribes, legal newspaper the Mirror reported on Wednesday. Chen was found to be involved in a corrupt deal for an advertising film for the ministry with a production cost of 18.5 million yuan.
