Official probed in bribery case

Cai Guangliao, former deputy head of the general office of the province's Party committee and deputy Party chief of the provincial public security department, is under investigation on corruption charges, the anti-graft watchdog of Guangdong said on Monday. Cai is alleged to have abused his power and taken a huge amount of bribes to seek profits for others. He has been dismissed from the Party.
