Spaniard Quini studies Chinese at 83

"Everyone says I have a Chinese face," says "Quini", who jokes that her family on her mother's side was from the Canary Islands.

"There were a lot of Chinese sailors there in the past, and maybe one was 'friendly' with my great-grandmother," the 83-year-old laughed.

That might seem to explain why she decided to start learning Chinese 15 years ago, but the real reason is more simple.
