Breasts are primarily composed of fatty tissue that surrounds milk glands, called lobules, and milk ducts. They are connected to the chest wall by connective tissue, and their main physiological purpose is to provide nourishment for infants.
Breast size has no bearing on a woman's ability to breastfeed, nor does it affect sensitivity or sexual arousal in women.
Breast size undoubtedly plays a part in sexual attraction, although the preferred size may differ with time and culture. Nowadays, the trend in the United States favors large breasts, but in Renaissance Italy, women with small breasts and wide hips were regarded as being representative of the perfect female body shape.
