By China Daily | China Daily | Updated: 2015-03-26 07:32

President Xi Jinping urged legal authorities on Wednesday to draw up plans to adopt effective practices aimed at increasing public trust in the nation's system of justice.

He also said China will borrow ideas and experience from other nations that have developed the rule of law, although it does not need to directly copy overseas systems.

Xi shared his views with colleagues in the Politburo of the Communist Party of China Central Committee at a collective study session, Xinhua News Agency reported.
